Family Circle gave you ways to save on summer fun. Did you take advantage of any of these deals? What are other ways you and your kids have free fun?

    I love summer because there are always so many free outdoor activities–concerts, movies, festivals, etc. Plus, you can have so much fun having a picnic in a park or just spending a day on the beach!

    I agree with Heather. Winter breaks cost me a fortune when outside activities are limited or pricey (even relatively tame sports like ice skating can get expensive when you have to rent skates, pay for session times, etc.). I live near the shore so getting to the water is easy and town parks are very inexpensive. If I load the car with wiffle balls, bats, frisbees and a big cooler filled with cold drinks and sandwiches, we’re good for the whole day!

    It’s really very difficult to entertain children properly in such a high economy but still you manage, which is very appreciable.
