My mother in law and I have had a less than amicable relationship – I’ve only been married a bit over a year.. She told us the reason she was cold and mean was bc she wasn’t yet ready to let go of her son and couldn’t grasp the fact that he was now married to me.To say the least she does not like me – which is ok because i keep my distance my question is… For our wedding his family did not pay a cent for anything at all “bc they didn’t have the money” now their other son is getting married 1 year later- already spending $14,000 + on her wedding- and now my husband’s mom is going to pay for their engagement party. I am trying not to feel bad. Would anyone else feel this weird feeling of annoyance?
