From stepping over sewer grates to crossing fertilized lawns, the average shoe becomes home to more than 421,000 units of bacteria over the course of two weeks, according to a University of Arizona study. To help control these germs, Rockport has developed a new line of washable shoes for women. Toss them in the washing machine, and one cycle eliminates more than 90% of bacteria.

I love to hike when I have a nice beautiful sunny day! I love to go to the parks here in MN. We have many of them though out the state of MN. My favorite is the great falls in Mankato area and having a picnic there watching the waters!

First of all, I love Rockport shoes so when I saw the article in Family Circle I was very interested. I love the look of the shoe and being able to wash them is so unique. Hi, my favorite place to walk is Humarock Beach. It is a beautiful, lightly populated beach. When you get to the end the North River and South River come together and meet the ocean and it is just breath taking. It always relieves all of my stress.
