I’ve made a lot of slow cooker oatmeal and, while I have a few favorites, none have been quite as easy, delicious and healthy as this one. What I love about this recipe is that it uses almond milk, so you get that little boost of protein and healthy fats, and bananas. Seriously, that is all. The trick is that I used 6 bananas to add plenty of sweetness to this great concoction. The best part, though, is that it’s a sure-fire new family favorite.  Take a look!

Makes: 6 (1 cup) servings
Prep: 5 minutes
Slow Cook: 7 hours on Low

Ingredients:
1 cup steel-cut oats
6 very ripe bananas
4 cups almond milk

Directions:
Peel bananas, mash them with a potato masher and pour on the bottom of your slow cooker. Sprinkle the top with steel-cut oats, then pour in the almond milk. Stir and set for 7 hours on Low. Once done, open, stir again and serve! Easy and delicious, isn’t it?
