Printable Photo Booth Props for New Year’s Eve

I’ve met very few people who claim to like New Year’s Eve. Mostly, I think it’s the pressure to end the year in sparkling fashion when a lot of us are really feeling the need to simply wind down. But I think New Year’s Eve can be fun, whether amongst friends or at home with your family, especially if you can find an activity to bridge age and gender gaps and get everyone engaged.

My vote for fun this year? Photo booth props. Print out a bunch, grab the camera, and get everyone to start mugging. It’s silly and fun and brings everyone together. Not a bad way to end the year.

Directions:

You can print these out on heavy white card stock or you can print them on regular paper and adhere to poster board or foam core using a spray adhesive (You’ll need an X-acto knife to cut the designs out). Another option for solid designs is to use the printouts as templates and trace them onto the back side of card stock to which you’ve adhered self-adhesive felt sheets. When you cut them out, you’ll have photo props that are sturdy, but have texture to them. To attach thin wooden dowels, you can use pieces of heavy-duty tape, such as electrical tape, or a quick-setting gel glue. (All supplies can be found at craft stores.)
