I do, so I found great comfort in rediscovering one of the favorite white wines of that era—Soave—which is also a perfect wine for summer. Frank Sinatra loved it and would walk out of restaurants that didn’t have his favorite brand on the wine list, and it was featured in Fellini’s masterpiece “La Dolce Vita”. Soave is complex yet easy to enjoy, affordable and, thanks to renewed investment in the vineyards and winemaking, high in quality. Many of these delicious wines can be found for $10-15 so next time you need a refreshing wine for a party or hostess gift pick up a bottle of Soave.
