I’m still enamored with the slow cooker meal I made last week. Michael’s recipe for pork ragu with rigatoni was so delicious that it’s motivating me to make more slow cooker pasta sauces. (Especially before the weather gets too warm to enjoy hearty fare!)
For inspiration, I turned to a number of food sites and, of course, FamilyCircle.com. Here are some of the tastiest-looking recipes I found:
Slow Cooker Hearty Meatless Sauce: A vegetarian take on spaghetti Bolognese using soy crumbles.
Slow Cooker Pasta and Meat Sauce: Simple, hearty and delicious–you can’t beat beef in red sauce.
Slow Cooker Spinach Tomato Sauce: Irina made this recipe a few weeks back and I’ve been meaning to try it out. I love packing veggies into pasta sauce–especially green ones like spinach and peas.
Slow Cooker Creamy Pork and Mushroom Sauce: I opted to omit heavy cream from the recipe I made last week, but if I do want to go the creamy route, I’m definitely trying this recipe.
Slow Cooker Chinese Hacked Pork: An Asian-style pork ragu that would go perfectly over Chinese noodles.
Slow Cooker Rich and Meaty Lamb Ragu: I don’t know about you, but the words “rich” and “meaty” definitely sell me on recipes.
Slow Cooker Pork Ragu and Bowtie Pasta: Carrots and zucchini give this meal some color–and extra nutrients.
